* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following county, Dare. * WHEN...Until 545 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 235 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area.
