Description: 
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of eastern North Carolina, including the following counties, Beaufort, Hyde and Pitt. * WHEN...Until 515 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 205 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Washington, River Road, Belhaven, Pinetown, Ransomville, Ponzer, Sladesville, Pungo, Pamlico Beach, Bayview, Sidney Crossroads, Core Point, Winsteadville, Bunyan, Pike Road, Leechville, Yeatesville, Terra Ceia, Bayview Ferry Terminal and Goose Creek State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
