* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Iredell County in the piedmont of North Carolina... Rowan County in the piedmont of North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1230 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...River or stream flows to remain elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 953 AM EDT, Rainfall across the advised area will continue to accumulate this morning with widespread totals of 2 to 3 inches along with locally higher amounts. The threat of high water conditions will remain as well, especially between Interstates 40 and 85. FLooding of low-lying areas along Second, Third and Fourth creeks is likely. Elevated and out of bank conditions are expected as well throughout the Grants and Town Creek drainages around greater Salisbury. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
