Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...East Central Caldwell County in western North Carolina...
* WHEN...Until 600 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 353 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain
have fallen northeast of Lenoir within portions of the Lower
Creek Basin. Watch for rapidly rising stream levels in this area
and water covered roads especially near Zachs Fork Road and
Highway 18.
