Description:
At 547 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Newport, or 9 miles northeast of Utica, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Little Falls, Dolgeville, Newport, Stratford, Middleville, Poland,
Cold Brook, Russia, Oppenheim, Fairfield, Norway, Ingham Mills, West
Frankfort, Curtis, Farrel Corner, Countryman, Lotville, Rasbach
Corner, Knappville, and Burrell Corners.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
