Description: 
At 715 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Country Knolls, or near Clifton Park, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Mechanicville, Cambridge, Round Lake, Country Knolls, Burnt Hills, East Glenville, Malta, Lee, Easton, Stillwater, Schaghticoke, Valley Falls, Schaghticoke Hill, Glenridge, Johnsonville, Willow Glen, Coons, Wayville, Garrison Manor, and Elnora. This includes Interstate 87 between exits 10 and 12.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for east central New York.
