Northwestern Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...
* Until 615 PM MDT.
* At 310 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated stationary thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1.15 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly or mountainous terrain there are numerous low water
crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not
attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
