Description: 
At 249 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen near the headwaters of area streams, except up to 0.75 of an inch on the headwaters of Beaver Creek. Flash flooding is likely ongoing. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Gascon, Rociada, and Manuelitas. Dangerous runoff will impact Rito del Oso, Maestas Creek, Sapello River, Daily Creek, and Rito San Jose.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Runoff from rainfall will cause elevated water levels within vulnerable drainages in and downstream of the Hermits Peak Calf Canyon fire burn area.
