At 912 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles east of Bottomless Lakes State Park, or 19 miles east of Roswell, moving east at 5 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Central Chaves County. This includes Highway 380 near Mile Marker 178.
