At 551 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Sugarite Canyon State Park to 13 miles east of Raton Crews Airport, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Capulin, Sugarite and Sugarite Canyon State Park. This includes Highway 64 between Mile Markers 351 and 377.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
