Description:
At 404 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 6 miles south of Lindrith to near
Torreon Navajo Mission, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Cuba, Torreon Navajo Mission, Regina, Fenton Lake State Park,
Gallina, Torreon and La Jara.
This includes Highway 550 between Mile Markers 40 and 78.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce
visibility below one quarter mile at times.
