* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of eastern Otero County in New Mexico. * WHEN...Until 815 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 508 PM MDT, A slow moving thunderstorm near Mayhill has produced 1.50 to 2.50 inches of rain based on radar estimates and automated gauges. This will cause small stream flooding in tributaries leading towards Lower James Canyon and down the Rio Penasco. - Additional rainfall of up to 0.5 to 1 inch is expected over the area.
