* Until 645 PM EDT.
* At 606 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Browns Mills,
or 18 miles west of Toms River, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is
possible.
* Locations impacted include...
Toms River, Lakewood, Beachwood, Presidential Lakes Estates,
Lakehurst, Holiday City South, Pleasant Plains, Cedar Glen West,
Presidential Lakes, Holiday City-Berkeley, Cedar Glen Lakes,
Whiting, Pine Ridge At Crestwood, Browns Mills, Leisure Village
West-Pine Lake Park, South Toms River, Country Lake Estates, Silver
Ridge, Holiday City, and Holiday Heights.
This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 78 and 85.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for southern New
Jersey.

building.
In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.
