* WHAT...Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, including the following county, Hudson and southeast New York, including the following counties, Kings (Brooklyn), Nassau, New York (Manhattan), Queens and Richmond (Staten Island). * WHEN...Until noon EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 956 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen, especially in southwest Staten Island. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Jersey City, Jamaica, Flatbush, Flushing, Bayonne, Valley Stream, Long Beach, Coney Island, Lynbrook, Woodmere, Rockaway Beach, Todt Hill, Great Neck, Crown Heights, Kennedy Airport, The Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Huguenot, Jackson Heights, Forest Hills and Canarsie. - This includes the following Event Locations...
