At 1132 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Elko, moving east at 35 mph. Radar has indicated weak rotation in the storm cell that may produce a cold core funnel. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Elko, Ryndon, Spring Creek, Lamoille Summit, and Halleck.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Cold air funnel clouds could develop in weak thunderstorms and showers. On rare occasions the funnel can reach the ground and become a weak tornado that can cause property damage and personal injury. Take the threat seriously and seek shelter if you see a storm approaching.
