Description:
At 708 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Dickens, or 17
miles north of Hayes Center, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. At 705 PM CDT, a 64 mph gust was reported
one mile northeast of Dickens.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Wellfleet, Dickens, Maywood, and Somerset.
This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 48 and 65.
Instruction:
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
North Platte.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
