Description: 
At 1238 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Kilgore, or 22 miles west of Valentine, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...Nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Kilgore and Crookston. This includes the following highways... Highway 20 between mile markers 170 and 186. Highway 83 between mile markers 221 and 222.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service office in North Platte. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for north central Nebraska. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for north central Nebraska.
