Description:
At 251 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms 8 miles southeast of Ridgeway, or 35 miles south of
Ekalaka, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail, along with very
heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Ridgeway, Albion and Capitol.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Localized torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storm and
may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
