At 541 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16 miles east of Ashland, or 29 miles west of Broadus, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Northwestern Powder River County. This storm will impact US-212 near Epsie.
