Description: 
At 423 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Whitehall to 9 miles north of Harrison to 13 miles south of Three Forks. Movement was east northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Three Forks, Manhattan, Whitehall, Harrison, Cardwell, Logan, Lewis And Clark Caverns State Park, Trident, Willow Creek, Missouri Headwaters State Park, Madison Buffalo Jump State Park, and Amsterdam.

Cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
