Description:
At 740 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 24 miles northeast of Miles City to 16
miles west of Volborg, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail, along with
areas of heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Miles City, Volborg, Ismay, Twelve Mile Dam, Strawberry Hill
Recreation Area, Mizpah, Locate, Matthews Recreation Area, Garland,
Knowlton and Moon Creek Ranch.
These storms will impact travel on Interstate 94 and Highway 12, so
drive with caution.
