Description:
At 401 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles east of Pryor, or 27 miles southeast of Billings, moving
northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Mainly rural areas of South Central Yellowstone and West Central
Big Horn Counties.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
