At 554 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 15 miles south of Harlowton, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch size hail. SOURCE...Surface weather station observed. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Deadmans Basin Reservoir and Shawmut.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until this storm passes.
