Description:
At 410 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms from Absarokee to Park City moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Columbus, Absarokee, Fishtail and Park City.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
