At 1235 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Somerville to near Mt Pleasant to near Hernando. Movement was east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Southaven, Collierville, Olive Branch, Hernando, Holly Springs, Wall Doxey State Park, Lamar, Somerville, Byhalia, Snow Lake Shores, Mt Pleasant, Lewisburg, Michigan City, Red Banks, Canaan, Lagrange, Independence, Slayden, Marianna, and Warren. This includes the following highways... Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 2 and 34. Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 274 and 284.
