* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of North Mississippi, including the following counties, Alcorn, Tippah and Tishomingo and West Tennessee, including the following counties, Hardin and McNairy. * WHEN...Until 715 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 514 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Corinth, Selmer, Iuka, Pickwick Landing State Park, Big Hill Pond State Park, J P Coleman State Park, Adamsville, Burnsville, Glen, Shiloh, Pineflat, Leedy, Hinkle, Pickwick Dam, Theo, Walnut Grove, Farmington, Bethel Springs, Eastview and Michie. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
