Bouie Creek Near Near Hattiesburg affecting Forrest and Covington
Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Bouie Creek near Near Hattiesburg.
* WHEN...From this evening to early Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Low land flooding begins near the river.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:45 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening to a crest of 18.5 feet just after midnight
tonight.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.6 feet on 02/24/2003.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
