The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
South Central Pearl River County in southern Mississippi...
* Until noon CDT.
* At 906 AM CDT, emergency management reported multiple roads flooded
in Picayune with life-threatening flooding expected on Hobolochitto
Creek. Record-setting river levels for Caesar at East Hobolochitto
Creek, higher than Hurricane Isaac. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 6 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Picayune and Nicholson, Mississippi. This
is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!
