At 844 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Wren, or near Amory, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Amory, Aberdeen, Shannon, Smithville, Prairie, New Salem, New Wren,
Nettleton, Hatley, Gattman, Quincy, Turon, Wise Gap, Wren, Sipsey
Fork, Becker, Cardsville, Tilden, Splunge, and Athens.
This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi near mile marker 117.
