At 748 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Sardis, or near Batesville, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Senatobia, Batesville, John W Kyle State Park, Sardis, Como, Pleasant Grove, Harmontown, Courtland, Teckville, Looxahoma, Shuford, Crossroad, McGhee, Ballentine, Glenville, Hayes Crossing, Horatio, New Town, and Eureka Springs. This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 239 and 265.
