At 313 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Tupelo, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tupelo, Verona, Tombigbee State Park, Saltillo, Plantersville, Furrs, Sherman, Beech Springs, Skyline, Endville, Belden, Mooreville, Palmetto, Eggville, Bissell, Ballardsville, Chesterville, Frog Island, Unity, and Indian Hills. This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 76 and 97.
