Description: 
At 114 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Trace State Park, moving north at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tupelo, Pontotoc, Trace State Park, Saltillo, Ecru, Troy, Furrs, Blair, Sherman, Algoma, Blue Springs, Endville, Cherry Creek, Chiwapa, Jug Fork, Flowerdale, Rough Edge, Nixon, Beech Springs, and Belden. This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 73 and 86.
Instruction: 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
