Description:
At 1203 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Shannon, or 9 miles southeast of Verona. This thunderstorm was nearly
stationary.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Amory, Verona, Okolona, Tombigbee State Park, Shannon, Plantersville,
New Wren, Evergreen, Nettleton, Mooreville, Wren, Bigbee, Leotis, Old
Union, and Richmond.
This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 93
and 94.
