At 707 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Paynes, or near Charleston, moving west at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Clarksdale, Senatobia, Batesville, Charleston, George Payne State Park, John W Kyle State Park, Tutwiler, Marks, Sardis, Lambert, Jonestown, Como, Crenshaw, Crowder, Webb, Sledge, Sumner, Pope, Belen, and Paynes. This includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 228 and 265.
