At 621 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Glancy, or 11 miles southwest of Hazlehurst, moving northwest at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Allen, Barlow, and Pleasant Hill.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
central, south central and southwestern Mississippi.
