At 554 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Damascus, or 14 miles southwest of De Kalb, moving west at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tucker, Bethsaida, House, Herbert Springs, and Damascus.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for east central Mississippi.
