Description:
* WHAT...For the Dense Smoke Advisory, dense smoke will reduce
visibility to 1 NM. For the Small Craft Advisory, southwest
winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 1 to 4 ft
expected.
* WHERE...Green Bay south of line from Cedar River to Rock
Island Passage and north of a line from Oconto WI to Little
Sturgeon Bay WI and Green Bay south of line from Oconto WI to
Little Sturgeon Bay WI.
* WHEN...For the Dense Smoke Advisory, until 7 AM CDT Monday.
For the Small Craft Advisory, from 7 AM Monday to 1 AM CDT
Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low
visibility will make navigation difficult.
Instruction:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
