Description:
* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 10 to 20
kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 2 to 5 ft occurring. For
the Dense Smoke Advisory, dense smoke will reduce visibility
to less than one nautical mile.
* WHERE...Huron Islands to Marquette MI and Marquette to
Munising MI.
* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 8 PM EDT this
evening. For the Dense Smoke Advisory, until 8 PM EDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low
visibility will make navigation difficult.
Instruction:
Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
