Description:
At 724 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 11
miles east of Blooming Prairie to over Hayward, or along a line from
26 miles southeast of Owatonna to 6 miles east of Albert Lea, moving
southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Hartland, Geneva, Clarks Grove, Hollandale, Albert Lea Airport,
Myre Big Island State Park, Albert Lea, Hayward, Glenville, Myrtle
and London.
Instruction:
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.
