Description:
At 215 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from over Willmar to 5 miles southeast of
Sacred Heart, or extending from over Willmar to 15 miles northwest of
Redwood Falls, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Pennock, Raymond, Sacred Heart, Prinsburg, Willmar, Renville, Svea,
Danube, Kandiyohi, Blomkest, Delhi, Olivia, Lake Lillian, Redwood
Falls, Atwater, Bird Island, Thorpe, Morton, Cosmos and Franklin.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
