At 315 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Marine City to near Mount Clemens to near Macomb Township. Movement was southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mount Clemens, New Baltimore, Algonac, Sterling Heights, Marine City, Clinton Township, Harsens Island, Macomb Township, Utica, New Haven, Washington, Anchorville, Shelby Township, Ray Center, Fair Haven, Stoney Creek Metro Park, Pearl Beach, and Chesterfield Township.
