At 241 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Ortonville to near Oxford to near Romeo. Movement was southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Pontiac, Holly, Oxford, Rochester, Ortonville, Clarkston, Rochester Hills, Auburn Hills, Lake Orion, Washington, Leonard, Lake Angelus, Lakeville, Davisburg, Holly State Recreation Area, Rose Center, Stoney Creek Metro Park, Shelby Township, and Waterford. People attending Oakland County Fair should seek safe shelter immediately!
