Description:
At 1019 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Wilderness State Park, or 14 miles west of Mackinaw City, moving
southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Cheboygan, Pellston, Mackinaw City, Indian River, Aloha, Carp Lake,
Bliss, Aloha State Park, Topinabee, Cheboygan State Park, Alverno,
Levering, Mullet Lake, Wilderness State Park, and Riggsville.
