At 641 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Merrill, or 7 miles northwest of St. Charles, moving southeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... St. Charles around 650 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by this storm include Brant, Nelson, Swan Creek, Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, Garfield, Fosters, Hemlock, Burt, and Layton Corners.
