At 258 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Dearborn to Taylor to near Carleton. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Taylor, Romulus, Flat Rock, Grosse Pointe, Downtown Detroit, Detroit, Dearborn, Wyandotte, Trenton, Grosse Ile, Belle Isle, Greenfield Village, Westland, Dearborn Heights, Lincoln Park, Southgate, Allen Park, Garden City, Inkster, and Hamtramck.
