Multiple rounds of thunderstorms moving across southwest Lower
Michigan early this morning will produce at least minor flooding.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following
county, Van Buren.
* WHEN...Until 615 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1222 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
South Haven, Paw Paw, Hartford, Mattawan, Lawton, Bangor,
Decatur, Van Buren SP, Pine Grove, Covert, Keeler, Lawrence,
Gobles, Bloomingdale, Breedsville, Glendale, Grand Junction,
Lacota, Kendall and South Haven Area Regional Airport.
