Description:
At 1102 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sandisfield, or 8 miles east of Great Barrington, moving southeast at
20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Otis, Sandisfield, Monterey, Otis Wood Lanes, Hartsville, New Boston,
Algerie Four Corners, Montville, Roosterville, Hephzibah Heights,
West New Boston, East Otis, Cold Spring, and West Otis.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
