Description:
* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Maryland, including the following
areas, Inland Worcester, Maryland Beaches, Somerset and Wicomico.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Showers and thunderstorms are expected to become more
widespread this evening through tonight and early Wednesday
morning ahead of a slow moving cold front. This front is
expected to stall across the region Wednesday with additional
rounds of showers and thunderstorms expected Wednesday
afternoon. Total rainfall amounts are expected to range from
2 to 4 inches, with localized higher amounts.
