Description:
At 516 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hurlock, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small trees and blow around
unsecured objects. Wind impacting handling of high profile
vehicles.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Dorchester County, including the following locations... Eldorado,
East New Market, and Brookview.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
southeastern Maryland.
