Description: 
The National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia has activated the SKYWARN amateur radio network for Severe Thunderstorm Watch number 448. Severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts. The main threat area will be areas along the MD/PA border from Frederick County Maryland eastward to Cecil County Maryland. Weather spotters are encouraged to relay any severe storm impacts to the National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia.
